Roofing and Oil Water Separator Project

Roofing and Oil Water Separator Project

Center, ND
2013

ICI performed some work during the fall of 2013 at the Minnesota Power HVDC station in Center, ND. The first part was replacing the roof of the HVDC building. The HVDC building includes very costly equipment that needed to be protected from any type of damage including chips or scratches. Before demo of the existing roof could begin, ICI protected all the equipment and hung debris nets to catch anything that could potentially be dropped. The demo and install of the 240’x90’ roof was performed successfully. Following the roofing portion ICI dug trenches for roof drains and a French drain which led to an oil water separator. The oil water separator had to be very carefully set into place under live power lines with the use of two excavators.
