GRE is converting their coal reject handling from a wet to a dry system. GRE contracted with ICI to construct a truck loadout facility with a storage silo and a system to deliver this rejected coal to the facility for transport to the storage location. ICI assembled and installed a 100-foot-tall silo for storing up to 960 tons of coal rejects and more than 700 feet of conveyor system pieces and the necessary machinery capable of delivering 8 tons per hour of coal rejects. ICI also erected and installed all necessary additional structural steel to support the new silo and conveyor system.
