Dust Suppression Building

Dust Suppression Building

Power Plant, Beulah ND
2015-2016

ICI was awarded the contract for the Dust Suppression Building project. The building houses tanks, various equipment and piping to transfer a chemical to the conveyor systems in order to reduce the amount of coal dust. It started in November of 2015 with civil and concrete work. Following that, ICI directionally bored and trenched 700 feet of HDPE pipe and 3” rigid conduit. Our iron workers erected a 55’x33’ structural steel building followed by sandwich panel siding and roofing. In addition, ICI’s pipefitters, ran 1,300 feet of small bore pipe, installed tanks and equipment for the dust suppression system. Our electricians ran power to the equipment and conveyor systems along with lighting and power in the new dust suppression building.
