In 1982, ICI was acquired by APi Group of New Brighton, Minnesota. APi Group (NYSE: APG) is a market-leading business services provider of safety and specialty services in over 500 locations worldwide. APi provides statutorily mandated and other contracted services to a strong base of long-standing customers across industries.
Although ICI is locally staffed and operated, we have the support, training, and resources of a large corporation through our affiliation with APi Group. Our extensive bonding capacity, purchasing power, and synergy among our sister companies gives us all the parts we need to make your project whole.
In 2019 ICI merged with our sister company, The Jamar Company, out of Duluth, Minnesota. The Jamar Company has over 100 years of experience as a specialty contractor that works in Industrial Construction, Specialty Fabrication, Plumbing & HVAC, Architectural Metals & Roofing, and Commercial & Industrial Service. Although we still operate autonomously as ICI, merging as one company has allowed us to share resources in various departments.
